The Kuwaiti team, comprising Abdulaziz Al-Fudairi, Talal Al-Fudairi, and Mohammed Al-Dosari, finished first in the competitions despite strong competition from the participating Arab teams.
Ahmed Muhaj, head of the Kuwaiti delegation and president of the Kuwait Air Sports Club, who also serves as vice president of the Asian and Arab Air Sports Federations, praised this important sporting achievement and the high level of performance of the Kuwaiti players in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Muhaj extended his thanks to the Public Authority for Sports and Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, for their support of air sports, as well as to the Kuwaiti Embassy in Tunisia, led by Ambassador Mansour Al-Omar, for their warm reception of the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the championship.
He emphasized that the championship witnessed fierce competition among Arab participants, and stressed that the participation of Kuwaiti players in such events and tournaments will help strengthen the status of air sports in Kuwait and raise the level of competition among players at both the Arab and continental levels.
