U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said on Thursday that stability in the Middle East requires embracing diplomacy and regional cooperation rather than engaging in endless wars.
In an interview with CNN, Ambassador Barrack stated that the notion of “Greater Israel” is a myth promoted by political opponents.
He noted that the repercussions of the October 7 events prompted Israel to reassess its external borders.
During his remarks, the diplomat emphasized that resolving conflicts in the region must be based on a diplomatic track, regardless of who serves as Israel’s prime minister.
He pointed out that countries in the region have come to realize that joint cooperation is a necessity dictated by reality.
