The Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries launched its digital platform, “Dira,” in its first phase today, Wednesday, as part of the authority’s strategy for digital transformation to deliver its services and streamline procedures.
In a speech at the platform’s launch ceremony, Acting Director General of the Authority, Al-Masbouhi, stated that the platform will offer advanced digital services based on modern, integrated databases, facilitating easier access to the authority’s services for beneficiaries.
She added that this step aligns with the authority’s aspiration to convert all its services into advanced digital offerings, contributing to improved service quality and procedures, and expressed her gratitude to all those involved in the project.
For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Faiz, Project Manager of the “Dira” platform, said in a similar address that the platform is currently in its first phase, limited to submitting reports on harmful animals and registering pets such as cats and dogs.
He clarified that the platform’s services are available to citizens and residents who possess a civil ID number, noting that additional services will be rolled out in subsequent phases, including services tailored for breeders.
