U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed that his endorsement of Netanyahu has shifted the balance of Israel’s legislative elections in favor of the current prime minister, overturning earlier predictions of a decisive defeat for him.
Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that the scales had completely turned once he announced his support for Benjamin Netanyahu, noting that instead of facing a crushing loss, the political landscape was now trending toward a tight race or even a victory for Netanyahu.
Trump added that this shift occurred following his direct endorsement, emphasizing that he sought only what would benefit the Middle East, Israel, and the United States.
