International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi said on Tuesday that there are no indications that Iran has attempted to repair or rebuild its nuclear facilities damaged by US and Israeli military strikes during this year or last year.
During a meeting of the UN Security Council, Grossi urged Iran to allow inspectors access to all nuclear sites, including those damaged in the military attacks.
The IAEA has been unable to verify the status of Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to levels approaching those required for nuclear weapons since the US bombed Iranian nuclear sites last year.
However, Grossi stated: “Since June 2025, we have not observed any activity to repair or rebuild any of the facilities damaged in military strikes during 2025 and 2026.”
