The Cabinet held its meeting today, Tuesday, under the chairmanship of His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The Cabinet was briefed on the substance of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s, reception of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The Cabinet expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia on several areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including attempts to target Mecca and Medina.
It affirmed that these cowardly and disgraceful attacks constitute a blatant violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites, a disregard for their religious significance, and a flagrant breach of the Kingdom’s sovereignty.
It stressed that the continued targeting of civilian airports and vital facilities necessitates a firm international stance to halt these attacks and hold those responsible accountable.
