The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces announced on Saturday that Kuwait is participating in the “Dragon 10” meeting in the United Kingdom to discuss developments on both regional and international fronts.
In a press statement, the General Staff said that Brigadier General Raed Al-Sukran, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, represented Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan at the meeting. It added that the discussions covered military affairs, as well as the latest developments, updates, and challenges on regional and international levels, and mechanisms for combating future threats.
The statement noted that several chiefs of staff from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle Eastern countries also participated in the meeting.
The group was named in honor of the first meeting held aboard the British warship HMS Dragon in 2018.
The group regularly brings together military leaders to exchange views on the security challenges facing the region and the world as a whole.
