UAE Honors Kuwait Embassy in Abu Dhabi with Award for Distinguished Diplomatic Mission - Sarmad

The United Arab Emirates honored the Kuwaiti Embassy in Abu Dhabi by awarding it the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Award for the Distinguished Diplomatic Mission in the country, in recognition of its efforts to support bilateral relations and enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

The award ceremony was held by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who presented the award to Kuwait’s Ambassador to the UAE, Jamal Al-Ghanim, in the presence of several ministers, ambassadors, and senior ministry officials.

Ambassador Al-Ghanim told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this honor reflects the appreciation for Kuwaiti diplomatic efforts and serves as an incentive for the embassy and its staff to continue working to strengthen bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries.

Al-Ghanim expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and to all ministers and officials at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this honor, reaffirming the commitment to continued serious and fruitful cooperation with the ministry to support all initiatives that broaden bilateral relations in ways that meet the aspirations of the two fraternal peoples.

He added that the embassy would continue to work on enhancing Kuwait’s presence and interests, highlighting its approach based on cooperation, openness, trust-building, and consolidating dialogue and mutual understanding, thereby contributing to expanding the horizons of partnership and achieving shared interests between the two countries.

Ambassador Al-Ghanim stressed that the directives of Kuwait’s political leadership reaffirm these principles and are keen to establish them as a working framework for Kuwaiti diplomacy.
