After years of absence, Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker returns with a musical concert titled “Return of the Absent” tonight, as part of the Riyadh Season events, at the Abu Bakr Salem Theater in Riyadh.
The concert, sponsored by Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, will take place at 10 p.m. Saudi time and brings together fans of Fadel Shaker to celebrate key highlights of his musical career.
With this concert, Fadel Shaker returns to Arab stages through a tour that begins in Saudi Arabia, after a 14-year hiatus from public performances, amid widespread anticipation from his audience eager to witness his appearance and the surprises he has in store. His son, Mohammed Shaker, will join him for several evenings. The comeback kicks off with two shows as part of the Riyadh Season, before moving to the city of Al Khobar, followed by stops at other Arab venues in November.
