Education Ministry: "Teams" Platform Activation Only Next Saturday, Not Every Saturday - Sarmad

Aroa Al-Ayyar, Director of the Public Relations and Educational Media Department at the Ministry of Education, confirmed that the activation of the “Teams” platform will occur only on the upcoming Saturday, not every Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. for a duration of one hour.

In a broadcast on Kuwait Television, Al-Ayyar stated that the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs had issued a circular regarding the activation of the “Teams” platform on the upcoming Saturday for one hour, according to the schedule outlined for each educational stage.

She clarified that each educational stage has one session attended by students and their teacher, who interacts with them and ensures that all technical aspects are present and ready.

She added that this circular aims to ensure that every student activates their account and every teacher is able to organize their classes and sections, in the event that education shifts to “remote” learning under any circumstances, especially as we approach a season characterized by weather fluctuations.

She continued, “The Ministry of Education has undergone previous experiences, such as the coronavirus pandemic and sudden weather changes, and we encountered some obstacles and problems with some students who were unable to study via their accounts and missed one or more lessons. These issues have provided us with an indication that we must always be prepared for such situations.”
