The Ministry of Education directed the relevant educational administrations to activate the Microsoft Teams platform in preparation for implementing remote learning sessions according to the approved schedules.
This came in a letter addressed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Engineer Hamad Al-Hamad, to the Director General of the General Administration of Educational Areas and the Director General of the General Administration of Religious Education and Special Education.
Al-Hamad called for instructing all schools to ensure students’ access to the educational platform on Saturday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m., for a duration of one hour, to attend the scheduled classes as outlined in the attached letter.
He emphasized the importance of awarding students grades that count toward participation and interaction marks, thereby encouraging students to commit to attending classes via the platform and enhancing their active engagement in the educational process.
