The organizing committee of the Saudi Super Cup in Kuwait, represented by the “Al-Rai Media Group” and “Ayan Leasing and Investment Company,” has selected the Webook (webook.com) platform as its official partner for selling tournament tickets through its app and website, as part of the organizational and operational preparations for the event hosted in Kuwait from December 19 to 23 next year at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. The participating clubs are Al-Nassr, Al-Khaleej, Al-Ahli, and Al-Qadsiah.
This move comes in the context of Kuwait’s first hosting of the Saudi Super Cup, following the signing of an official partnership agreement for the hosting by the “Al-Rai – Ayan” alliance with the Saudi Football Federation, represented by its exclusive commercial partner, SMC Vibes.
Under the agreement, tournament tickets will be available through Webook, enabling fans to purchase and manage tickets digitally, from seat selection to secure ticket transfers and the resale of eligible tickets through official channels in accordance with the approved conditions for each event. The platform also provides the public with a reliable alternative to purchasing from unofficial platforms or accounts.
Khaled Salah Al-Sayer, Director of the Saudi Super Cup – Kuwait Edition, emphasized that the selection of Webook reflects the organizing committee’s commitment to partnering with platforms that possess technical and operational expertise in managing major events, and to delivering a comprehensive digital experience for fans from ticket purchase until entry into the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
Al-Sayer stated that the choice of Webook is not limited to ticket sales, but encompasses an integrated system that facilitates a smoother and safer fan experience, offering digital solutions that help regulate ticket trading and curb the black market.
He noted that the entry of a platform of Webook’s scale into the Kuwaiti market through the Saudi Super Cup reflects the value of the tournament, while giving the public the opportunity to experience an advanced digital solution that has proven its presence at several major events.
Webook’s role in selling tournament tickets, given its widespread fan following in the Gulf, marks a new milestone in its regional expansion.
In this regard, Nadim Bakhsh, CEO and Co-founder of Webook, said: “A fan attending a match of the magnitude of the Saudi Super Cup wants, above all, to be assured that their ticket is official and their seat is reserved. This is what we strive for at every high-demand event we manage, and this is what we are offering today to the Kuwaiti public.”
He added: “We look forward to this tournament being the beginning of an extended relationship with our partners and fans in Kuwait, encompassing other sports and entertainment events.”
