(KUNA) — The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, today, Sunday, received Vice Admiral Kurt A. Renuar, Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, the Fifth Fleet, and the Combined Maritime Forces, during his visit to the State of Kuwait.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the meeting discussed areas of cooperation and coordination between Kuwait and the friendly United States of America, as well as ways to enhance them, alongside topics of mutual interest.
It clarified that the meeting takes place within the framework of the close relations between the two friendly countries and the commitment to continue exchanging expertise in a manner that serves common interests and contributes to supporting security and stability in the region.
