(KUNA) — The Ministry of Interior, in coordination with the General Fireforce and the Kuwait Municipality, conducted a broad security operation in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, resulting in the arrest of wanted individuals and the issuance of violations.
In a press statement on Sunday, the Interior Ministry said the operation led to the issuance of 40 traffic violations, the arrest of 47 wanted persons, and the apprehension of 10 individuals in violation of the residency law. Three abandoned vehicles and one vehicle violating traffic regulations were seized, and one person was arrested for possessing alcohol.
According to the statement, the General Fireforce’s efforts resulted in the issuance of 78 violation notices, the administrative closure of 47 establishments, and the delivery of 23 closure warnings.
As for the Kuwait Municipality’s activities, the statement noted the identification of 62 cases requiring shop licensing, the placement of 25 stickers on vehicles, the detection of 18 cases of non-compliance with area regulations, 15 cases requiring the removal of stored items, the towing of 10 abandoned vehicles, and the identification of 6 cases requiring the removal of temporary structures.
