Military operations continue within the “Yemen Dawn” campaign, carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against Houthi militias across multiple fronts, with intensified aerial and ground strikes in the provinces of Marib and Ta’izz. These operations target fortifications, military positions, and weapons depots belonging to the militia, supported by combat aviation.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Saturday that their operations are ongoing on the Marib fronts, confirming that they have inflicted casualties and material losses on the Houthis, and destroyed military positions, fortifications, and weapons depots through airstrikes targeting the group’s capabilities and deployment sites.

Ground advances in Marib

The Marib fronts witnessed new ground developments, as government forces announced the expansion of their advance and the takeover of key sites and heights. Meanwhile, military engineering units continue to clear roads and recaptured positions of mines and improvised explosive devices, securing lines of advance.

Earlier, the Yemeni Army announced the execution of 1,292 targeting operations within 24 hours, according to a statement published on Friday. These operations targeted defensive positions, fortifications, trenches, firing sources, Houthi gatherings, vehicles, and supply means. The military spokesperson stated that the operations contributed to widening the ground breakthrough on Marib’s eastern front, while maintaining pressure on the southern and western fronts.

Focused strikes in Ta’izz

In Ta’izz, government forces continue to target Houthi reinforcements and their combat positions, coinciding with the thwarting of Houthi attacks on several fronts, including the eastern and western sectors of the Shabqah front south of the city, according to the Yemeni Armed Forces Media Center. These operations are part of efforts to weaken the Houthis’ combat capabilities, disrupt their movements and supplies, and secure positions advancing toward by government forces.

Coalition thwarts arms smuggling

Alongside ground and air operations, the Coalition for Legitimacy Support announced the thwarting of attempts to smuggle weapons to the Houthis via sea toward the western Yemeni province of Al-Hudaydah.

Coalition spokesperson Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki released footage he said documented arms smuggling operations, their unloading on beaches, and their transport by land, alongside strikes on vehicles and shipments linked to these activities. The Coalition noted the continued dismantling of the militia’s supply networks, weapons depots, and missile launch platforms, labeling the militia as terrorist.

These developments reflect the synchronization of military pressure on combat fronts with moves aimed at cutting off the Houthis’ supply lines. The Yemeni forces continue their operations under the “Yemen Dawn” campaign, announced by Yemeni leadership with the goal of restoring state institutions and extending government authority over areas under Houthi control.
