Qatar PM reaffirms support for Lebanon and calls for Israeli withdrawal from occupied territories - Sarmad

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, stated that Qatar supports Lebanon in all the steps it takes, emphasizing the necessity of the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from occupied territories and their handover to the Lebanese Army.

He added, following his meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace in Beirut on Friday, that Qatar will continue to support Lebanon and will seek to provide comprehensive solutions to the country’s energy issues.

In a televised address after the meeting, he noted that the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to implement joint projects that contribute to the security, stability, and prosperity of the region.

The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister clarified that the energy sector is at the core of Lebanon’s concerns, reaffirming that Qatar is striving to offer comprehensive solutions in this field.
