(KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Army concluded on Thursday the activities of the Command Centers Exercise (Berq 8), conducted by the Operations and Plans Directorate in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, the National Guard, and the General Fire Force, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Khaled Al-Sharhan.
The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces said in a statement that the exercise included a number of training scenarios aimed at enhancing coordination, unifying concepts and operational mechanisms among participating entities, and testing the efficiency of the command and control system and the effectiveness of implemented procedures.
It added that the exercise is part of efforts to develop joint operations between military and security agencies, raise readiness levels and operational integration, and enhance the capacity to handle various challenges efficiently and effectively.
