(KUNA) – Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan conducted an inspection visit on Thursday to the Mishref wastewater pumping station to review ongoing operations and ensure its readiness and safe operation at full capacity.
Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the tour, Al-Mashaan described the Mishref station as a vital facility serving a large number of residential areas, emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to field monitoring of its readiness to ensure uninterrupted service in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
During the visit, she inspected the station’s facilities and operational systems and received a detailed briefing from the technical staff on the operating procedures, safety measures in place, and the efficiency and capacity of the pumps and equipment to operate at full capacity.
Accompanying Al-Mashaan during the visit were Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works Kifaya Al-Najdi, Director General of the General Administration of Health Engineering Affairs Engineer Anwar Al-Balushi, along with the technical team responsible for operating the station.
