The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced that the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Administration conducted a field inspection round by supervisory teams in the Capital Governorate. The teams identified construction violations in investment, commercial, industrial, and private properties, and took the necessary measures against violators to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and bylaws.
The administration clarified that this was the second such round in the governorate, with the specialized supervisory team conducting on-site inspections in various areas and at sites where violations had been identified. The round resulted in issuing six violation notices related to building regulations concerning area expansions, and issuing 14 warnings regarding construction violations in the Jabir Al-Ahmad and Salwa areas.
It was noted that additional field rounds will follow in all governorates, according to a schedule prepared by the Public Relations Department in coordination with the relevant administrations, to be implemented in the coming weeks.
