The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Tuesday that it had intercepted and destroyed two drones and four “cruise” missiles in the Riyadh and southern regions.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Coalition’s spokesperson, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, reported the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis toward Haradh and Dammam.
Al-Maliki noted that fragments from the intercepted missiles fell in a residential area in Dammam, adding that relevant authorities are investigating the site.
Saudi Civil Defense had previously declared that the threat had passed for Riyadh and the Eastern Province, following an alert issued by the National Early Warning Platform for Emergency Situations.
