The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement issued today, Tuesday, that a telephone call took place between Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
During the call, Al-Jaber expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of all terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against innocent civilians and civilian and economic targets in the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that these heinous attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a serious breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
He reaffirmed Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability. The latest regional developments and their repercussions were also discussed, with emphasis on the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two brotherly countries.
