Israeli incursion into southern Syria.. Calls to reveal fate of 37 detainees - Sarmad

Syrians demanded the disclosure of the fate of approximately 37 detainees held by the Israeli occupation forces, during a protest in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, amid continued Israeli incursions and gunfire in areas of southern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Observatory reported that an Israeli military force, consisting of two vehicles, infiltrated the Wadi al-Raqad area in western Daraa countryside, after departing from the Abu al-Ghaythar gate. It noted that the force fired heavy weapons toward empty agricultural land before withdrawing.

It added that no information had been received regarding casualties or material damage resulting from the incident, while highlighting the continuation of Israeli incursions and movements in areas of Quneitra countryside, amid residents’ fears of repercussions on their security and safety, given the repeated raids, searches, and gunfire.

It clarified that an Israeli military patrol, consisting of eight military vehicles, infiltrated on Sunday west of the village of Sid al-Hanout in southern Quneitra countryside, where it began moving between homes and firing shots into the air, coinciding with the flight of drones in the area’s skies.

According to the Observatory, this comes after Israeli forces detained three sheep herders during their incursion into the Abu Madhra farm near the village of Sid al-Hanout in recent hours, before releasing them later.
