(KUNA) – The Public Authority for Housing Welfare organized today, Monday, an introductory workshop titled “Adaa: A Project for Excellence and Professionalism,” in collaboration with the Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha), with the aim of introducing the “Adaa” project and highlighting the importance of implementing the Code of Conduct for Public Officials.
In a press statement, the Authority said that the workshop, attended by the Acting Director General of the Authority, Engineer Rashid Al-Anzi, and several of its senior officials, comes within the framework of its commitment to strengthening the culture of professional conduct and entrenching the principles of integrity, transparency, and professionalism in the work environment, thereby contributing to enhancing institutional performance and developing the capabilities of its employees.
It added that the workshop, presented by Dr. Hussein Al-Sabbagha, the Awareness and Education Supervisor at Nazaha, covered the key aspects related to the Code of Conduct for Public Officials and its role in consolidating professional values and reinforcing adherence to regulatory and behavioral standards, which contributes to improving the work environment and elevating performance levels.
The Authority clarified that it has made significant progress in implementing the provisions of the Code as part of its efforts to enhance concepts of integrity, transparency, and professional excellence among its employees.
It noted that, in collaboration with Nazaha, it has met the monthly requirements for the Bronze Phase of the “Adaa” project by circulating a survey to measure employees’ awareness of the Code of Conduct for Public Officials and by implementing several awareness campaigns aimed at promoting the culture of professional conduct.
It mentioned that it has prepared internal training courses within the 2026/2027 training season targeting executive and supervisory categories to raise awareness of the principles of professional conduct and develop professional skills, adding that registration for these courses is conducted through the electronic documentary course in the Human Resources system.
The Authority emphasized its efforts to fulfill all necessary requirements to successfully pass the Bronze Phase of the “Adaa” project with distinction, paving the way for transitioning to the Silver Phase next year, reflecting its commitment to developing the institutional work system and strengthening the culture of integrity and professionalism.
