(KUNA) – Bahrain’s Royal Media Affairs Advisor Nabil Al-Humair met today, Monday, with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, to discuss ways to support and enhance media and cultural cooperation between the two countries, and to leverage media and culture in strengthening the fraternal ties between the two brotherly peoples.
During the meeting at his office in Qasr Al-Qubaisi, Advisor Al-Humair welcomed Ambassador Al-Najim and conveyed his congratulations on his appointment as Kuwait’s ambassador to Bahrain. He emphasized his pride in the deep-rooted fraternal relations and solid historical bonds linking the two countries, which are under the gracious patronage of their leaderships, contributing to fulfilling the aspirations of both nations and their brotherly peoples.
He noted the special status Kuwait holds among Bahrainis, pointing out that ties between the two countries extend beyond official relations to encompass entrenched familial and social connections. He also expressed his hope to strengthen Kuwait’s cultural presence in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to intensify artistic and cultural events and joint initiatives between the two countries.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Bahrain’s Royal Media Affairs Advisor for the warm reception, reaffirming Kuwait’s commitment to continuing cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance media and cultural collaboration, expand areas of coordination, and exchange expertise in ways that serve the shared interests of both countries.
He added that Kuwaiti-Bahraini relations are built on a long history of brotherhood and connectivity between the two brotherly peoples, stressing the importance of utilizing media and culture to highlight the depth of these relations and to strengthen communication between media and cultural institutions in both countries, thereby supporting the trajectory of joint cooperation and realizing the aspirations of their leaderships and brotherly peoples.
Attending the meeting from the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain were Advisor Abdulaziz Al-Falah and Second Secretary Gineen Abu Alian.
