Saudi Energy Minister: 'Fear' Word Not in the Saudi Dictionary - Sarmad

Saudi Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, affirmed that the word “fear” is not in the Saudi vocabulary.
Speaking at the International Energy Forum (IEF) meetings held in Riyadh on Monday, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman stated that the Kingdom has invested for decades in everything related to energy supply chains, emphasizing that the broad participation in the conference serves as living proof that Riyadh remains the energy capital.
He clarified that everyone who comes to Riyadh is fully aware that the Saudi capital remains safe, noting that the rapid repair of the East-West pipeline reflects the depth of precautionary measures previously taken to protect this vital facility.
The Saudi Energy Minister added that energy security cannot be taken for granted, while reiterating that the word “fear” is not part of the Saudi lexicon, and that the Kingdom will overcome any challenges it faces while keeping the focus on the future of coming generations.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman stressed the necessity of continuing work under Vision 2030 and ensuring the reliability of the energy sector under any circumstances, pointing out that a reliable energy transition requires understanding the differences between the needs and conditions of various countries.
He also confirmed the Kingdom’s continued development of new technologies to reduce emissions, alongside the optimal utilization of all available energy sources.
