'WSJ': Trump-Zelensky Relations at Lowest Point - Sarmad

The Wall Street Journal stated that relations between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have reached their lowest point since their altercation in the White House in February 2025.
The newspaper noted that “the sharp criticism directed at Zelenskyy marks the lowest point in the relationship between the two leaders since their clash in the Oval Office, which occurred shortly after Trump’s return to the White House in 2025.”
It emphasized that U.S. moves could undermine the military and financial aid Washington provides to Kyiv and lead to the collapse of the Western policy of exerting pressure against Moscow.
Trump had previously told reporters that it was time for Ukraine to elect a new president capable of reaching an agreement with Russia.
He asserted that Zelenskyy seeks to create problems for the entire world, and that he could have resolved the conflict in Ukraine on multiple occasions but chose not to do so.
Trump’s remarks came a day after he announced a deal to purchase diesel fuel from Russia.
