Bahraini Minister of Media: Kuwait Holds a Leading Cultural Position and Makes Significant Contributions to the Gulf Landscape - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Bahrain’s Minister of Information, Dr. Ramzan Al-Naemi, on Sunday praised Kuwait’s leading media and cultural standing and its significant contributions to media and cultural production, which have enriched the Gulf landscape.

This came during a meeting between Minister Al-Naemi and Jasem Al-Najem, Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in which he underscored the deep historical and fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries, rooted in strong familial and social bonds. These ties are supported by the care and attention of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his counterpart, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and guard them.

Al-Naemi emphasized the importance of enhancing media and cultural cooperation between the two countries, as well as exchanging expertise and experiences, to develop media and cultural work and serve shared interests.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Najem affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continuing to strengthen bilateral and fraternal relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain across various fields, particularly in media and culture. He stressed the importance of expanding cooperation and joint coordination to bolster bilateral ties and bring benefits to both countries and their brotherly peoples.

The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral media and cultural cooperation, the importance of enhancing media coordination among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and the continuation of joint efforts to elevate Gulf media.

Attending the meeting on behalf of the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain were Counselor Yousef Al-Banwan and Second Secretary Lujain Abu Aliyan.
