Interior Ministry: 100 KD fee for issuing a replacement Kuwaiti passport - Sarmad

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, issued a decision amending certain provisions of Ministerial Decision No. 1971/2020 concerning the imposition of new fees and the modification of fees collected for certain transactions conducted by the General Administration of Citizenship and Kuwaiti Travel Documents.

Ministerial Decision No. 1769 of 2026, published this Sunday morning in the official gazette “Kuwait Al-Yaum,” stipulates the amendment of Item 3 of Article 2 of Decision 1971/2020, setting the fee for issuing a replacement for a lost Kuwaiti passport at 100 dinars.

Article 2 of the decision tasked the Undersecretary of the Ministry with implementing the decision, which takes effect from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
