The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussed fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation between the two countries, as well as ways to enhance them, particularly in developmental and economic fields, during a phone call he received today, Thursday, from Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues and developments, and the efforts being made to address them, foremost among which are the developments in the Middle East region and their repercussions on the future, security, and stability of the region.
The agency clarified that both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening the foundations of regional security and stability, in order to serve the interests and development of all the peoples of the region.
