Kuwait Condemns Houthi Militia Attacks on Abha and King Khalid Airports in Saudi Arabia - Sarmad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the brazen attacks by the Houthi militia on Abha and King Khalid International Airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in multiple deaths and dozens of civilian injuries, in a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry emphasized Kuwait’s unequivocal rejection of the recurrence of these cowardly attacks targeting innocent civilians and civilian and economic infrastructure, stressing the urgent need to halt them immediately.
It reiterated Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures undertaken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents on its territory. It underscored that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and expressed sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the victims’ families, along with wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured.
