(KUNA) – Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan affirmed that the Inspection and Audit Office within the ministry serves as a cornerstone for strengthening internal oversight and ensuring the integrity of procedures, noting that the preparation of its code of conduct in coordination with “Nazaha” embodies the ministry’s commitment to the principles of integrity and transparency.

This statement came in a press remark by Al-Mashaan on Wednesday, following her ceremony honoring employees of the Inspection and Audit Office, attended by the Director General of the General Administration for Control and Audit and the Acting Head of the Inspection and Audit Office, Engineer Hiba Al-Baqer, in recognition of their outstanding efforts over the past period.

Al-Mashaan stated that honoring national talents represents continuous support for dedication and excellence, and serves as an incentive for staff to continue achieving and contributing to the development of the work system.

She pointed out that the ceremony was in appreciation of the contributions made by the office’s employees within the scope of its duties and mandates, as well as their role in implementing and monitoring the summer plan, reflecting their commitment and diligence in performing tasks with efficiency and quality.

During the ceremony, Al-Mashaan received a copy of the office’s key achievements and its code of conduct, which was prepared in coordination with the Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha), thereby reinforcing the methodology of institutionalized work.
