Wide Raids and Arrests Campaign in Occupied West Bank on October 7 Anniversary - Sarmad

Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-ranging campaign of raids and arrests on Wednesday in several villages and towns in the northwestern part of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported today that the occupation began, hours before dawn, a broad raid operation targeting numerous villages and towns in the northwestern area of occupied Jerusalem. This coincided with the assault on the perimeter of the home of prisoner Qadri Samara in the town of Budrus, forcing residents to evacuate the surrounding area. As a result, some were compelled to spend the night in mosques, while occupation machinery proceeded to demolish the basement of the house.

Occupation forces also raided the village of Beit Dqaq, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, searching several homes and initiating a campaign of arrests and field investigations. This was accompanied by the imposition of a cordon around the village, preventing residents from leaving or traveling to their workplaces.

In the town of Beit Anan, a large contingent of occupation forces stormed the area, launching a campaign of arrests and field investigations against several residents.

Similarly, occupation forces raided the town of Qubayba, conducting house raids and searches, which included field interrogations and the arrest of several individuals.

In the town of Beit Surik, occupation forces carried out raids and field investigations targeting several homes and residents shortly before withdrawing from the town.

In the town of Qatanna, occupation forces dispersed across several neighborhoods, raided homes, and launched a wave of arrests. Several residents were subjected to field interrogations, while a cordon was imposed on the town, barring entry and exit for its inhabitants.
