The coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen announced the execution of a naval military operation in the Yemeni province of Hodeidah, which resulted in the destruction of military targets belonging to the Houthi militia and the thwarting of plans for imminent attacks targeting waterways in the southern Red Sea.
The coalition’s spokesperson, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, clarified that the operation included the destruction of weapons depots and warehouses for explosive-laden boats and naval mines, emphasizing that the move aligns with its objectives to protect maritime navigation security and ensure the safety of ship movements in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea.
