Trump Urges Iran to Choose the 'Best Path' or 'Face the Worst' in Resolving the Conflict - Sarmad

U.S. President Donald Trump said he would have to make a decision regarding the conflict with Iran, which would end “either through peaceful means or through difficult ones.”

Trump added, “The question is simply whether it will end through peaceful means or through difficult ones. We can resolve the conflict in the best possible way, or we can resolve it in the worst possible way.”

The U.S. president noted that a “decision must be made” in the context of the Iranian issue.

Trump claimed that Iran is “effectively abandoning all of its nuclear weapons plans.”

Earlier, Axios reported, citing three U.S. officials, that senior members of the U.S. administration met for hours at Camp David on Friday to discuss the next steps in the war with Iran and the conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis.

On Thursday, Trump said he was considering resuming a bombing campaign against Iran in the coming weeks, adding that either Iran would strike “a very fair deal,” or it “will no longer exist.”
