First Deputy PM and Interior Minister Visits Retired General Abdullah Al-Faris to Inquire About His Health - Sarmad

(KUNA) — The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, visited today, Sunday, retired Major General Abdullah Al-Abd Al-Rahman Al-Faris at the hospital to inquire about his health, in recognition of his career and contributions as one of the founders of the Ministry of Interior who helped build and develop the security institution through holding several leadership positions and his role in training generations of security personnel.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that Sheikh Fahad Al-Youssef listened during the visit to a briefing from the treating medical team regarding the retired officer’s health condition and the medical care being provided to him.

According to the statement, Sheikh Fahad Al-Youssef, on his own behalf and on behalf of all Ministry of Interior personnel, expressed his wishes for Major General Abdullah Al-Faris to make a swift recovery and to enjoy continued health and well-being, reaffirming the Ministry’s pride in its retired security leaders and its commitment to their care and ongoing engagement with them.
