The Ministry of Public Works continues to carry out comprehensive maintenance works under new road maintenance contracts, covering 13 main roads and 42 areas across the six governorates, from October 3 to 8, as part of its efforts to enhance the efficiency of the road network and improve safety for users.
In a press statement on Sunday, the Ministry said these works follow the directives of Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan to intensify monitoring, follow-up, and on-site supervision of road maintenance projects, accelerate completion rates, and adhere to approved technical specifications and quality standards.
The statement added that the works include several main roads, such as Abdali, Sabiya, King Fahd, King Faisal, the Fourth Ring Road, and the Seventh Ring Road, along with internal roads and streets in residential areas across various governorates.
It noted that specialized engineering teams continue to monitor the progress and implementation stages on the ground to ensure that maintenance works are completed according to approved schedules.
