Minister of Social Affairs issues decision to dissolve 6 charitable endowments - Sarmad

Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Hawila issued a ministerial decree dissolving six charitable endowments.

Article One of the decree, published in the official gazette “Kuwait Al-Yawom” in its Sunday edition, states: “The following endowments are hereby dissolved: Al-Urwah Al-Wuthqa Endowment, Al-Rahma Charitable Endowment, Al-Sa’adah Endowment, Nasir Mutlaq Al-Shari’an Endowment, Al-Naqi Charitable Endowment, and Al-Amal Charitable Endowment.”

Article Two stipulates that the funds of the dissolved endowments shall be transferred to the Ministry of Social Affairs upon their liquidation, pending the determination of the entity to which the funds will ultimately be allocated.
