The General Authority for Industry issued a package of decisions, published today, Sunday, in the official gazette “Kuwait Today,” which included the closure of five industrial plots, four of which are located in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area (Second and Third Zones), along with one plot in the East Al-Ahmadi area.
The Authority confirmed in separate decisions that these plots were closed for several reasons, including encroachment on state property, the plot being closed with no ongoing activity, and conducting commercial operations under an expired license.
The Authority granted a one-month deadline from the date of closure to rectify the violations.
It emphasized that failure to comply would result in stricter measures against the violators in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
