On Sunday, six decrees were published in the official gazette, “Kuwait Today,” revoking the citizenship of 415 individuals.
Decree No. 155 of 2026 stipulates the revocation of citizenship certificates for six persons, as well as those who acquired citizenship through them by derivation, in accordance with Article 21bis (a) of Amirial Decree No. 15 of 1959 and its amended laws.
Decree No. 156 of 2026 stipulates the revocation of citizenship for 286 persons, including those who acquired it through them by derivation. Decree No. 157 of 2026 stipulates the revocation of citizenship for 14 persons.
Decree No. 158 of 2026 stipulates the revocation of citizenship for 25 persons and those who acquired it through them by derivation. Decree No. 159 of 2026 stipulates the revocation of citizenship for 41 persons and those who acquired it through them by derivation. Additionally, Decree No. 160 of 2026 stipulates the revocation of citizenship for 43 persons and those who acquired it through them by derivation.
