Gaza: Martyr Toll Rises to 8 Following Scattered Israeli Occupation Airstrikes - Sarmad

(KUNA) — Health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of Palestinian martyrs since dawn on Saturday has risen to eight, including two who died from their injuries, as a result of a series of Israeli airstrikes and targeted attacks on various areas of the Strip.

In a statement, health authorities said that five Palestinians, including four women, were killed and several others were injured, some with life-threatening wounds, following an Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment in a multi-story building in western Gaza City during the early hours of the morning.

They added that one Palestinian was killed in an attack carried out by Israeli reconnaissance drones against a group of Palestinians in the city of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.

The authorities clarified that two other Palestinians died from injuries sustained in previous Israeli attacks: one was shot in the head in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip several days ago, and the other was injured about two weeks ago in an attack in the Ard al-Mufti area north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

This brings the total number of martyrs since dawn to eight Palestinians, amid what the authorities described as a genocidal war waged by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians through scattered Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past three years.
