The Ministry of Health has emphasized the importance of early detection of breast diseases, noting that mammography helps identify changes at an early stage, even before symptoms appear, thereby enhancing the chances of recovery.
The Ministry clarified that appointments for the screening can be booked at centers of the National Early Detection of Breast Diseases Program through the “Sahl” or “Salim” apps.
It added that booking an appointment via the “Sahl” app is done by selecting the “Request for Early Detection of Breast Diseases” service under the Ministry of Health’s services.
The screening centers include:
Capital Governorate: Sheikh Ahmad Al-Farsi and his wife Sharifa Al-Awadi Center – Surra.
Farwaniya Governorate: South Kuwait Health Center.
Hawalli Governorate: Al-Zahraa Health Center.
Ahmadi Governorate: Al-Uqayla Health Center.
Al-Jahra Governorate: Al-Nuaim Health Center.
