Trump: We Don't Know Who to Deal With in Iran - Sarmad

US President Donald Trump said that the United States “doesn’t know who to deal with” in Iran.
Trump made his latest remarks on the conflict while speaking at a truck manufacturing plant in Denton, Texas, on Thursday, before heading to an election rally in Durant, Oklahoma.
He said the United States is “trying to be nice” to Iran’s current leader, without naming Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, while “seeking someone to negotiate with.”
He explained, “Their leaders have mostly departed. That was one of our problems; quite frankly, we don’t know who we should be dealing with.”
Trump continued, “We are trying to be nice to the current person, but we have to deal with someone at some point. So we are doing very well.”
Trump also expressed confidence in the outcome of the war, predicting a “quick resolution.”
He added, “We will win very easily,” indicating his belief that victory would come “right after the midterm elections (next November), or perhaps even before them.”
The US president said, “Their currency is worthless. They have no money. And they have no navy; all 159 of their ships are now resting nicely at the bottom of the sea.”
Trump concluded, “They have some missiles, but we are able to handle it. There are only a few left, and their manufacturing capabilities have completely stopped.”
The United States continues to deploy additional military capabilities in the region, amid signs that negotiations with Iran, which mediators are trying to revive, are stalling.
