Ronaldo: I Will Reveal the Reason for Leaving Portugal Camp at the Right Time - Sarmad

Cristiano Ronaldo continued to stir controversy, announcing that he has already left the Portugal national team camp and will reveal the reasons at the appropriate time, amid speculation that he is close to announcing his retirement from international football.
Ronaldo left the Portugal camp on Wednesday after missing three consecutive days of team training, despite coach Jorge Jesus insisting that he would participate.
Jesus had angered Ronaldo by benching him for the entire 90 minutes during a 2-1 victory over Norway in the UEFA Nations League, and then confirmed that he did not intend to start him against Denmark tomorrow, Thursday.
In a statement after leaving the camp, Ronaldo said: “Following the press conference with the national team coach, and after a conversation with the president of the Portuguese Football Federation, I have decided to leave the national team training camp.”
He added: “I will reveal to the Portuguese people, at the appropriate time, the true reasons behind my departure from the national team, to which I have always dedicated myself.”
He concluded: “The time has now come to wish Portugal and all my teammates the best of luck.”
