“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you. His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, may God protect and guard him, represented by His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, may God protect and guard him; Your Excellencies, the Ministers; Your Excellencies, members of the diplomatic corps; and our distinguished guests. We welcome you with the warmest greetings. We gather today on a distinguished national and cultural occasion: the opening of the third phase of the Martyr’s Park. We celebrate a new achievement added to Kuwait’s civilizational journey and a new cultural and artistic edifice: the Wall Theater. These achievements lead us toward the future while remaining rooted in our national identity and heritage, creating a place where Kuwait’s memory meets its present and the aspirations of its coming generations.
As we celebrate this achievement, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the prominent artists and stars, all participants in this national performance, the working teams, government entities, and participating institutions for their significant efforts in ensuring the success of this national occasion.”
We also extend our sincere gratitude, appreciation, and thanks to our partners in this major national celebration: Kuwait National Bank, Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Alshaya Group, Ooredoo Kuwait, and Boustani Al-Yousef Company, in recognition of their generous initiatives and active contributions to producing this celebration, and in appreciation of their role as partners in the success of this significant national and cultural event.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful symbols of this occasion is that Al-Sour Theatre begins its artistic journey with a major national theatrical production titled “Al-Sour,” which evokes the epic saga of Kuwait’s Souq Al-Mubarakiya (Al-Sour) across generations, highlighting its values of unity, solidarity, loyalty to the homeland, and rallying around wise leadership.
May God protect Kuwait and perpetuate upon it the blessings of security, safety, and stability under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, may God protect and safeguard him, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him and continue upon our beloved nation the path of goodness, giving, progress, and prosperity. Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
A group of prominent artists and stars presented the national celebratory artistic performance “Al-Sour,” which, through its artistic and spectacular tableaux, depicted key milestones in Kuwait’s history and national journey, evoking values of cohesion, loyalty, and belonging to the homeland, as well as the innate spirit of mutual support and solidarity among the people and heroes, especially at the forefront during crises, and their rallying around wise leadership, along with the enduring national heritage passed down through generations.
A commemorative gift was presented to His Highness’s representative, may God protect him, on this occasion.
Following the ceremony, His Highness’s representative, may God protect him, conducted a tour that included the third phase of the Martyr’s Park, during which he inspected the external and internal facilities, encompassing cultural, tourist, and recreational areas, as well as commercial projects and logistical services within the park.
His Highness’s representative, may God protect him, departed the event venue amid the same warm reception and appreciation with which he had been welcomed.
