Housing Minister Leads Kuwaiti Delegation to 24th Meeting of Gulf Housing Ministers in Bahrain - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Kuwait participated in the 24th meeting of the Committee of Ministers Responsible for Housing Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held today in Manama. The Kuwaiti delegation was led by the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Mutairi, as part of the activities of the Fourth GCC Housing Week.
The Public Authority for Housing Welfare stated in a press release that Kuwait’s participation aims to strengthen GCC housing cooperation, exchange expertise and experiences in housing welfare, and contribute to supporting joint efforts to develop housing initiatives among GCC member states.
It added that the GCC Housing Week activities included a number of meetings, dialogue sessions, and topics related to the housing sector, alongside discussions on ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences and expertise among member states.
The authority noted that the Kuwaiti delegation presented Kuwait’s housing experience and the latest developments in projects, as well as the steps taken to bring real estate developers into operation and qualify specialized companies to begin the actual implementation of projects.
The Kuwaiti delegation includes Acting Director General of the Authority, Engineer Rashid Al-Anazi; Acting Deputy Director General for Planning and Design, Engineer Rasha Al-Adwani; Director of the Design Department, Engineer Nasser Al-Saeed; and Director of the Minister’s Office, Sabah Al-Otaibi.
