Egypt and UAE Stress the Need to Intensify De-escalation Efforts and Contain Tensions - Sarmad

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr. Badr Abdelatty held a telephone conversation with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and developments in the regional situation.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement on Wednesday that the call focused on discussing ways to continue developing the fraternal and strategic relations between the two countries across various fields.

It added that the conversation also covered recent developments in the region, during which Minister Abdelatty emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to de-escalate tensions, contain conflicts, and support political and diplomatic tracks to resolve current crises.
