Araghchi Receives US Response to 7-Day Proposal, to Discuss in Tehran Today - Sarmad

A source familiar with the talks told Reuters that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his team met with Qatari mediators in Doha yesterday evening, and the Iranian minister received a U.S. response to the seven-day proposal, which he will discuss in Tehran today.

The document currently under negotiation outlines a seven-day confidence-building plan aimed at restoring an enhanced version of the memorandum of understanding signed by the United States and Iran in June.

The main point of contention between the United States and Iran concerns the sequencing of steps, not the elements of the seven-day plan.
