Narcotics Control Arrests 12 Suspects in 8 Separate Cases - Sarmad

The General Directorate for Combating Narcotics has arrested 12 suspects in eight separate cases involving the possession of narcotics and psychoactive substances with intent to traffic and consume, as well as alcoholic beverages, a firearm, ammunition, and cash.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, these arrests resulted from the efforts of the International Combating Directorate, the Local Combating Directorate, and the Information Directorate in combating the trafficking of narcotics and psychoactive substances and apprehending those involved.

The operations led to the confiscation of various quantities of seized items, including 2,565 capsules of Lyrica, 1,700 grams of hashish, 850 grams of methamphetamine, 150 milliliters of liquid chemicals, 100 grams of hashish oil, and 100 tablets of psychoactive substances. The seizures also included 83 bottles of locally produced alcoholic beverages, 40 sheets saturated with liquid chemicals, 6 grams of Lyrica powder, 6 sensitive scales, a firearm, a quantity of ammunition, and 5,790 Kuwaiti dinars from the proceeds of sales.

Following the conclusion of these operations, all suspects and seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
