Egypt Defeats South Sudan 5-0 in Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers - Sarmad

Egypt’s national team secured a commanding 5-0 victory over host nation South Sudan in the match played today, Tuesday, in the capital city of Juba, as part of the second round of Group 2 in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Egypt’s goals were scored by Mustafa “Zico,” Omar Marmoush (two), Ibrahim Adel, and Hamza Abdelkareem, securing the team’s first win in the qualifying campaign.

With this victory, Egypt moved to four points to top Group 2, following a goalless draw against Angola in the opening round.
