Kuwaiti customs officials at the Salima border crossing seized a vehicle while it was attempting to leave the country, after it was suspected and subjected to customs inspection and scrutiny.
The inspection revealed the discovery of three Captagon pills, a tightly concealed strip of Larica tablets, and a solid powdery substance suspected to be methamphetamine or “chemical,” pending laboratory analysis to determine its nature. Inspectors also found 28 cigarette packs hidden in various compartments of the vehicle.
Security and commercial seizure reports were drawn up, the vehicle was impounded, and the suspect and the seized items were referred to the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics to take the necessary legal action.
